The price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) has been increased in Bangladesh. The price of a 12kg LPG cylinder has been raised by Tk 70 to Tk 1,598, up from Tk 1,528 last month. The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) announced the new prices on Sunday. BERC has fixed the retail price of LPG at Tk 133.15 per kilogram. Bangladesh has proposed importing natural gas from Myanmar through a cross-border pipeline.
