Delhi HC Orders Sonam Wangchuk Shifted To Medanta; Political Leaders Visit Injured CJP Protesters

A day after the Cockroach Janta Party's 'Chalo Sansad' protest turned violent in Delhi, the Delhi High Court directed that activist Sonam Wangchuk be shifted to Medanta Hospital for further treatment. The court also ordered Medanta to constitute a panel of doctors to oversee his treatment and directed that all medical reports be shared with the panel.Meanwhile, Union Health Minister JP Nadda visited RML Hospital and Lady Hardinge Medical College to meet injured protesters and review medical arrangements. Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra also visited RML Hospital to meet injured students, while AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal, along with Atishi and Saurabh Bhardwaj, met injured protesters earlier in the day. The developments come a day after clashes between protesters and security personnel left several people injured across the national capital.
