Washington is maintaining all available options in managing Tehran.
The Delhi High Court quashed criminal defamation proceedings against senior advocate Pinaki Misra. This decision came after finding insufficient material to prove reputational damage. The court noted the complainant did not present evidence from others. Misra had also denied giving the alleged interview to the publication. Therefore, the High Court set aside the summoning order and quashed the case.
A drive will begin against drivers without working Marathi knowledge. Notices will be issued, followed by license suspension if compliance is not met. Additional Transport Commissioner Ravi Gaikwad will lead the month-long statewide initiative. Drivers face a one-month notice to acquire Marathi proficiency. Failure can result in license suspension and permit cancellation.

Moitra must appear before the investigating officer on August fourteenth for questioning. The court directed her to cooperate fully with the ongoing investigation. Further proceedings in the matter will be heard again on October first.
