UK economy growth slows to 0.4 per cent in second quarter

UK's economy grew at a slower pace in the second quarter, with the national statistics office saying output remained obust despite domestic political unrest and the fallout from the US-Iran war. Gross domestic product increased 0.4 per cent in the April-June period, after expanding 0.6 per cent in the first quarter, the Office for National Statistics (ONS) said in a statement on Thursday.
