India to strengthens support for shrimp farmers through insurance, disease control and infrastructure

The Centre has outlined a series of measures to improve the welfare of shrimp farmers, including enhanced disease surveillance, aquaculture insurance, affordable credit and investments in fisheries infrastructure, the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying informed Parliament.
