Inside LICs Rs 16 lakh crore portfolio: Its biggest stock buys and sells in June quarter

Life Insurance Corporation bought shares worth over Rs 16,000 crore in June. Bharti Airtel and Maruti Suzuki saw the largest buying from the insurer. LIC also sold shares worth over Rs 13,000 crore during this period. Its overall market share declined to an all-time low despite net buying. Financial services remained the largest sector exposure for LIC's portfolio.
