Pakistan lodges protest over US ambassador

Islamabad rejected Gors description of the territory as an important part of India, calling the remarks factually incorrectreports. Asian Lite News Desk Pakistan on Wednesday summoned the US Charg dAffaires in Islamabad and lodged a formal protest over remarks made by US Ambassador to India Sergio Gor during his recent visit to Jammu and Kashmir. According to Pakistans Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad delivered a demarche over what it described as the Ambassadors factually incorrect comments concerning the status of Jammu and Kashmir. Pakistan condemned and categorically rejected Gors characterisation of Jammu and Kashmir as an important part of India.
