In Norway, elderly people can live independently or in care homes while staying connected with family. In India, children often juggle jobs, EMIs, childrens expenses and parents healthcare. Vinod said Indians have mixed love with duty, money, dependency and guilt, calling it sanskar, and asked whether India needs a better elderly-care system.
