Bollywood actor and social activist Dia Mirza has questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modis response to the ongoing student protests, expressing disappointment over the governments stand after his video message released late Thursday night. Reacting to PM Modis address on the issue of paper leaks, Dia shared a post on social media and criticised the lack of empathy shown towards affected students and families. He said the government would introduce a strict law to prevent examination irregularities and ensure strict punishment for those involved. The Prime Minister informed that the draft legislation would be discussed in the Cabinet and, after approval, would be presented in Parliament next week. The government will also make efforts to pass the bill at the earliest.
