He did not change the food, he changed the plates: Chinese restaurant's Rs 10,000 trick added Rs 2.25 lakh a month

Delhi-based investor Raj shared how his friend's Chinese restaurant reportedly boosted customers from 120 to 150 daily after spending Rs 8,000-Rs 10,000 on separate green and red plates for vegetarian and non-vegetarian diners. With an average bill of Rs 250, the change added around Rs 7,500 in daily revenue, or approximately Rs 2.25 lakh monthly. The lesson: understanding customer perception can drive business growth.
