After two weeks strain this mixture and add equal amount of water to this solution. Store in a spray bottle and use it for cleaning purposes. Make powder– Sun dry lemon peels and when they dry out completely, grind them into a fine powder. You can add this to recipes or just use for beauty and home cleaning purposes.

Clean directly– You can also use the peels directly for beauty and cleaning purposes. Take sugar in a plate and dab the lemon peel on it, use it as a scrub to cleanse elbows, lips, hands and feet. Sugar and lemon make an excellent scrub and is great for the skin. Next you can also use the peels directly on the sink or the gas top to clean them. Rub the peels all over the surface and let it sit for a minute or two and wash off with water. You can also sprinkle some baking soda to these surfaces and then use lemon peels to clean the area.

Microwave cleaner– Take water in a microve safe bowl and add lemon peels to it. Turn on the microve for 5 minutes and once done leave the bowl inside for 2 more minutes. Afterwards, take out the bowl safely as it will be super hot. With the help of a cloth clean the inside of the microwave.

Kettle cleaner– To remove the mineral deposit simply fill water in the kettle and add lemon peels to it. Switch on the power and bring the water to boil, once the water cools down wash off normally.
